Golf courses in Suffolk

Suffolk offers quality golf in the gentle landscape of East Anglia, from heathland courses near the coast to parkland layouts across the county. The sandy soil around the Sandlings area produces courses with heathland character and excellent year-round playing conditions.

Aldeburgh Golf Club, set on the Suffolk coast near Benjamin Britten's Snape Maltings, provides an excellent heathland/links hybrid with views across marshland to the sea. Woodbridge and other clubs in the coastal belt offer similar sandy terrain.

The terrain varies from genuine heathland on sandy soil to parkland in the clay areas further inland.
